In the city of Darwin in northern Australia, a man broke into a hotel and opened fire on the guests. The 45-year-old attacker was armed with a pump-action shotgun. He shot several times at the doors of hotel rooms.
In the hotel, the criminal killed four people and wounded two more guests. The attacker managed to escape from the crime scene and go to another part of the city, where he also opened fire with a gun at the passersby. Militiamen reported about the detention of the criminal but warned that the number of victims can increase.
